At the end of a day in the pottery studio I seem to accumulate a lot of little pieces of clay left over from turning or trimming bigger pots. Instead of throwing this material into the recycle bin I rework the left-overs into whimsical clay critters. Simply throwing little pots and dropping them wet from a height onto the work table is the beginning of the new creation. Each of the little clay critters develop their own personalities from the start. Adding a couple of ears, a horn or a tail basically finishes them off!
